Ingredients:

1 package Turano French rolls
1 LB. Italian sausage
1 sweet green pepper cut into 3/4???strips
1 small sweet onion cut in half and sliced
4 slices provolone cheese

Italian Sausage Melt

Directions:

1. Grill or fry sausage links until deep brown and well-done 8 to 10 minutes
2. Meanwhile, heat oil in sauté pan to medium hot, add peppers and onions, continue to cook until tender but still crunchy.
3. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Open each roll into a “V??? place a piece of sausage into each roll, and cover with a slice of cheese and 1/4 of the pepper mix.
5. Place sandwich in pre-heated oven at 400 degrees for 4 to 6 minutes or until cheese melts and bread is crunchy.
