Ingredients:

10 slices TURANO ALPINE GRAIN BREAD
1 cup honey mustard
1/2 lb. gouda cheese (preferably SMOKED) cut into medium slices
2 large firm and ripe California Bartlett pears, cut into thin slices
3/4 lb. of thin sliced ham (preferably Black Forest)
1 bunch of fresh spinach, de-stemmed, washed and dried

California Bartlett Pear Ham and Cheese Sandwich

Directions:

1. Spread a thin layer of honey mustard on 5 pieces of TURANO ALPINE GRAIN.
2. Top the other five slices of bread with gouda cheese.
3. Place all 10 slices of bread under broiler until the cheese is melted and bread is lightly toasted
4. Place the pear slices on the melted cheese and a layer with ham and spinach.
5. Top with the remaining pieces of toasted bread.
6. Slice each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
